Peru has arguably the highest diversity of butterfly species on the planet, with some 4500 recorded species. This tour concentrates on the famous Manu road in the Manu Biosphere Reserve in the south-east of the country, which takes us through the wonderful Cosñipata valley, and along the upper reaches of the Madre de Dios river.
